5th GAMMA Congress in St. Gallen

Last weekend, several members of the Neuromechanics Research Group attended the GAMMA Congress in St. Gallen.
In addition to a perfectly organized social program, the congress featured a high-level scientific program that offered valuable insights and engaging discussions.

Our new PhD students, Clara Egner and Markus Astl, participated in the pre-conference Gait Course to deepen their understanding of clinical gait analysis.

We’re especially proud of Bernhard Guggenberger, who received the GAMMA Science Award for his paper titled “Patient-specific gait pattern in individuals with patellofemoral instability reduces knee joint loads.”

In addition, Willi Koller, Johannes Eichwalder, Callum Bühler, and Hans Kainz also took part in the congress and presented their latest research contributions. All abstracts were published in Gait & Posture – see links below.
