Abstract accepted for presentation at the World Congress for Biomechanics

An abstract from Ass-Prof Hans Kainz got accepted for an oral presentation at the ‘Modeling and Simulation’ session at the World Congress of Biomechanics (WCB).

The WCB,  held once every four years, is the most prestigious international meeting on biomechanics in the world. This year the WCB will be in Taipei (Taiwan) and, depending on the COVID restriction, will be held either on-site or as an hybrid virtual conference. In his talk, Dr Kainz will show that imaging-based musculoskeletal models alter muscle and joint contact forces but do not improve the agreement with experimentally measured electromyography signals.
