Biography

Clara Egner is a PhD student for the INSIDE-BONE project, investigating the relationship between movement and bone growth in children and adolescents.

She received her BSc in Technical Physics in 2017 and her MSc in Biomedical Engineering in 2022, both at the Technical University of Vienna. After cooperating with the NRG for her Master’s thesis on joint loads of dancers, she joined the group again in 2025 for her PhD. Besides her technical background, she is also a state-certified sports instructor, competitive dancesport athlete, and is active in science communication.
