Biography

Judith Satzinger, 23, is currently starting her master’s degree in Sport Science at the University of Vienna.
In her bachelor’s thesis, she investigated joint loading of the upper body during climbing training tasks. The markerbased motion capture system Vicon was used to estimate joint moments in shoulder and elbow. For future research and a master’s project, also EMG data was collected.

The next goal is to create a musculosceletal upper-body model which is applicable in various ways.
