Biography
Kevin Kitir received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from TU Vienna in 2019, where he completed his Bachelor thesis on the effective thermal conductivity of porous media. He is currently pursuing dual MSc degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at TU Vienna. His professional experience includes roles as a Student Assistant at the Institute of Lightweight Design and Structural Biomechanics and the Institute of Mechanics and Mechatronics at TU Vienna. Since November 2024, he has been working as a Student Assistant at the Department of Biomechanics, Kinesiology, and Computer Science in Sport at the University of Vienna. His current research focuses on contact modeling of the hip joint using finite element methods.
