Biography
Leon Lobe is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in sport science at the University of Vienna. He completed his bachelor thesis, titled ‘The effects of strength training with cluster sets compared to traditional strength training for maximum strength development – systematic review,’ in early 2022, which ignited his passion for research.
Furthermore, from October 2022 to February 2023, Leon has gained valuable research experience by working as a research intern in the biomechanics department. During this internship, he had the opportunity to contribute to ongoing research projects and acquire practical knowledge in utilizing programs such as Vicon Nexus and OpenSim. This experience has provided him with a strong foundation in biomechanics and enhanced his understanding of data analysis techniques.
In addition to his research pursuits, Leon has developed a keen interest in scientific data processing, particularly utilizing Python. He has undertaken projects and coursework to strengthen his proficiency in using Python for data analysis and scientific programming.
Looking ahead, Leon aspires to contribute to the fields of sport science and biomechanics through his research endeavors.
