Biography
Markus Astl obtained his BSc in Physics from the Technical University of Graz in 2021 and his BSc in Sports and Movement Sciences from the University of Graz in 2025. In 2023, he completed his MSc in Healthcare and Rehabilitation Technologies at UAS Technikum Wien, where he subsequently worked as a Junior Lecturer and Researcher. Since 2025, he has been working as a project staff member and PhD student in the MODEL-CP project at the University of Vienna. The project aims to improve the understanding of gait disorders and to predict surgery outcomes in cerebral palsy. His research focuses on neuro-musculoskeletal simulations and the effects of clinical interventions.
