Biography
Sandra Walter graduated from the University of Vienna with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, where she investigated the use of initial measurement devices as wearables. Sandra went on to study physiotherapy at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland and is currently working as a physiotherapist at the Bad Erlach Rehabilitation Clinic. Her bachelor thesis in physiotherapy focused on anterior cruciate ligament injuries and the effects of muscle interactions during different lower body movements, comparing a healthy and an injured individual. For her Master’s thesis in Sports Science, she will extend this idea to a larger cohort using musculoskeletal simulations.
